Description |
Dylakor was founded by Bill Newcomer and Jim Case on September 6, 1968. They initially had a three-pronged strategy: develop software products, provide consulting services, and run a service bureau. Their initial software product was a file conversion program called DYL-250 which they marketed under a unique pricing scheme of renting it for $1.00 a day. Case left the company in the mid-1970s and Newcomer shifted the focus to software utility products. The company was sold to Sterling Software in 1982. |
